Is a winter wedding in Canberra a good idea? If you ask most people, they would probably say it’s too cold!
Ask Mikko and Nathan, and they would say “Hell Yeah”, let’s just do it.
Winter in Canberra although cold it has its inherit beauty. The autumn leaves are now on the ground instead of in the trees, but it makes it look amazing. You also get shorter days, so the sun sets earlier and you can go and join your guests earlier than say in Summer.
The best thing to do during this time is to wear warmer clothes, and dress for the occasion and you’ll be more than fine. It’s a better excuse to get close, which Mikko and Nathan did exactly that.
