Sydney wedding »

Anna &
Justin

A funky and unique Sydney wedding at one of Surry Hill's finest restaurants, Chin Chin is a pretty awesome place.

Anna and Justin love their Kingfish Carpaccio. And when they had one of their first dates at Chin Chin Sydney, they knew from that instant that they wanted to have their Sydney wedding right here.

And I couldn't agree with them more, it's just a special and unique Sydney wedding venue that has everything going for it.

The day started with a traditional Chinese tea ceremony which is a tradition dating back centuries and still is followed today. Of course, slightly amended to make it more fun and modern but they certainly made it their own.

Anna's father is a jeweller so he taught his daughter how to make the rings themselves so it was a really nice gesture to present it to the couple.

The day followed with a church service honouring Jose's faith and the minister was the same one that married his sister and brother and mum and dad many years ago so it was a very special moment for the family.

Afterwards, we spent some time doing wedding photography in and around the Rocks which was where they had their first dates many years ago.

Of course, the highlight of the day was the restaurant Chin Chin and yes they did have the Kingfish Carpaccio. It was pretty outstanding and I too had a try and I can honestly say it was the best i had!

The food is a Asian fusion taking in all of south east Asian and Korea/Japan so it's a wonderful mix of the best of it all.

So happy to be part of this amazing day!
