Hey guys, I’m Kevin and I want to be totally honest with you from the start - I’m not like every wedding photographer.
I’m not going to tell you how your wedding should look. I want to hear you describe how you want it to feel. Then you can relax and enjoy your special day, knowing that from the first teardrop at the wedding arbour to the final shriek of joy on the dancefloor,
I’ll be there to shoot every candid and authentic moment in exquisite detail......but I’ll also capture the bits that you didn’t even know you wanted. Like the sunlight hitting your partner’s face just before you say ‘I do’. The best man’s shoe getting stuck to the floor during his speech. Or your auntie out-twerking the maid of honour!
I’ve been capturing all the brilliant, beautiful and crazy moments that make up weddings with my camera for the last 8 years and each time is as exciting as the first. Ready to plan the best day of your life?
Let’s get started.
I’m excited to get to know you! Let me share a little about myself so that you can get a feel for the kind of person who will be photographing your wedding.
I’m blessed that my job consists of photographing awesome people; however, when I’m not at work I love hanging out with my wife and two crazy kids - they really are the best people in the world and give me purpose every day of my life.
We love spending time outdoors and try to spend any spare time we have running/cycling around in nature or sitting on our deck drinking a glass of good wine with great company.
I love living in Sydney and have been here all my life.
I think it's the best place in the world and we're pretty lucky to live in such an amazing place.
I spend A LOT of time in the kitchen in between work, either making a coffee (double shot latte), baking sourdough and trying to figure out how to cook a foreign meal I've never tried before. It doesn't always work but i'm always up for a tastebud adventure!
In my (rare) spare time, you'll probably find me in my backyard tending to my veggie patch, trying to kondo my life and picking up pieces of Lego off the floor (all parents will relate to this never-ending task!)
I love the world we live in and I want to ensure it's around for my kids (and their kids) to enjoy too.
I do my best to live sustainably and tread lightly when and where I can. I’m always looking for ways to reduce waste and recycle everything possible.
I even grow my own fruits and vegetables in my backyard! It’s wonderful having a natural source of homegrown food and I love that I can give back to this wonderful world in my own small way.
One thing a lot of people don’t know about me is that, before I set off on my path to become a candid wedding photographer in Sydney, I was very close to accepting a chef’s apprenticeship!
I have a major fondness for fine food and wine and can still find my way around a kitchen. Some of my favourite dishes to cook up are pasta (handmade, of course), sourdough and my (in) whole roasted duck
I've been to over 27 countries in my life (so far!) and I still love to travel whenever I get the chance.
There’s something special about going to a place you’ve never been before and discovering its culture day by day, learning how the people live, what they value and of course, sampling their cuisine!
Here's where I went for my honeymoon; Cappadocia in Turkey.
My beautiful wife Lily has always stuck by my side and encouraged me to follow my photography passion. She also happens to be my harshest critic and isn’t afraid to be brutally honest about my work.
That's one of the many reasons why I love her.
She's also an amazing photographer and artist in her own right. I’m lucky enough to have her on-hand to help me with photo editing and album design, making her the unofficial second member of the team!
There is simply nothing I enjoy more than making my own cafe latte, armed with my trusty espresso machine and freshly-ground, delicious-smelling coffee.
I’m actually a bit of a coffee nerd; I’ve recently been experimenting with different coffee roasters all over our wonderful city.
I also ensure that all the beans I buy are sustainably sourced and that the growers are paid ethically.
Healthy eating is my kick, so I recently decided to start growing and picking my own fresh fruit and veggies from the garden.
You haven’t known true bliss until you’ve strolled outside and picked up dinner from your very own backyard!
Lately i've been growing snow peas, brocolli, pumpkins, oranges, lemons and blueberries
As a Sydney Wedding photographer, I’m pretty proud of all these awards. But you’re probably wondering what exactly they mean to you.
Well, they mean I really care about my work. They mean I put 110% into every project I shoot. And they mean I’ll bring that same commitment and expertise to your wedding day.
