A Sydney Wedding with a million dollar view
Seriously Sydney, can you get better than this for your wedding day?
No, not really. There’s only one Shangri-La Hotel in Sydney, and only one place with a view like you’re in the clouds.
And only one restaurant that’s located 36 floors above the ground right onto of Sydney Harbour.
On a picture perfect postcard day, Danny and Anna decided that the view was totally worth it, and every one of their 60 closest family and friends thought so too.
A lunchtime wedding reception often gets put aside for its more fancied nighttime reception, but when you have views like this, you’d probably say it’s a really great idea!
What’s the vibe like?
Not only are the views amazing, the food and wine is just superb as well. The Altitude Restaurant in Shangrila Sydney is a icon in the Sydney fine dining scene and if you want to impress your guests then you should certainly put this one on your radar.
Altitude has unveiled a new modern Australian menu created by Executive Chef Michael Elfwing. The classic menu is enhanced by a thoughtful wine list created by the hotel’s Executive Sommelier, Matt Herod.
All award winning chefs with more hats you can put on your head, so the food is understandibly awesome to go with that view.
Anna and Danny were married at nearby Lavender Bay in front of their closest friends and family on a super cold and windy May day. Luckily the sun was still shining so it made it slightly warmer!
The wind nearly took out Anna’s veil at a number of points during the ceremony!
After the ceremony we took photographs at Wendy’s Secret Garden where coincidently where Danny proposed to Anna.
Thanks to the awesome vendors who made the day possible
