All Janet and Vincent wanted was a really intimate, fun and cozy vibe that incorporated their love for three things.
Funky Music
Great company from their best friends and family
Even Better Food and wine!
The day started off really really early and Janet wanted her besties to see her for the first time in her dress at the hotel before the day started, and of course immediately following that they had some breakfast in the hotel corridor.
Can you tell how important food is to Janet? Honestly I can’t think of anything worse than getting married on an empty stomach, so yes, great idea !
They then walked across the road to have their ceremony at Kittyhawk, one of the coolest hippest bars in all of Sydney. The ceremony was full of happy tears of joy and the vows that Vincent and Janet wrote were just beautiful and so personal to each other.
We then took some photos inside Kittyhawk and I love how on point the venue looks in their WWII post war liberation theme and the staff left us there so we could have a play around for our photos!
Janet and Vincent had their first wedding party at the Eight in Haymarket where their family was present and they had a 11 course Chinese Banquet as well as doing a tea ceremony to pay respect to their parents and grandparents. It was so lovely to see and they had so many people so happy to see them!
Of course, it wouldn’t be Janet and Vincent without going to Timezone for a game of Connect 4 basketball and air hockey. And a bit of dodgem cars!
We took a B line for some photos around their favourite spots in the city, Kowloon Cafe was a spot they frequent regularly so we had to make sure we didn’t leave without a cool pic!
Vincent and Janet love music and they had their friend’s band Stacey Street play on the night which was pretty awesome, and they made sure that the vibe was just how they wanted it. They also brought in their favourite Tuesday night activity, Trivia and they had their favourite hostess come in and do a game of trivia for their guests which was a great idea!
And of course Kittyhawk did not disappoint with their amazing food, wine and cocktails all night. They even topped it off with late night canapés which was a real fan favourite.
Im so damn happy to share this wedding with you all, it was truly amazing to be part of and I felt like I was among family the entire time.
Thank you Janet and Vincent for letting me be part of your lives!
Thanks to the team of people who made it all possible
